I bought these for my church choir stands, and they are nice but could be brighter. They serve well if there's still some light in the room, but I'm not sure they'd work for reading music in the darkness (which we never have). I also wish the switch was on the top, bc the music books cover the switch and you have to move them every time you need to make adjustments to the lamp light.
